As the dust settles around the longest Super Bowl of all time let’s take a moment to congratulate the Baltimore Ravens. Interactive Promotions Group’s very own Patti Johnson is from Baltimore and was quite happy to see her team bring home the Lombardi Trophy Sunday night.
Some pretty amazing things took place on Sunday night. The most amazing play and record making moment was Jacoby Jones’ 108 yard kickoff return for a touchdown to start off the second half. Check out all of Jacoby Jones’ outstanding plays during the game here. Fast forward to the thirty second mark to check out his kickoff return and at the forty-five second mark you can see Jacoby celebrating that remarkable play in the end zone. However, the best part about his celebration was the dance that he chose to do, he did “the dance”, the one and only dance of retiring teammate, linebacker Ray Lewis. If you have never seen Ray do his dance out of the tunnel, you can see his final dance at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore which took place yesterday following their welcome home parade Ray’s Final Dance.
Not to go without mention was the 34 minute blackout that took place very shortly after Jacoby Jones’ touchdown–Cue social media frenzy, from spoofed pictures of the Harbaugh brothers crying to their mother to pictures of a giant electrical plug being pulled, the jokes went on.
So let’s circle back to that kickoff return. Did you know you can purchase coverage from Interactive Promotions Group for just this type of thing? Well you can and for those of you who are wondering, it is called a Team Achievement Promotion. We actually had a restaurant purchase this coverage for 3 of their locations in and around Rockford, IL. Jacoby Jones had an amazing game on Sunday and thanks to him 3 people are each $10,000 richer!
Once again, congratulations to the Baltimore Ravens, or RAYVENS if you’re from Baltimore!!
