Ingram Micro, in Williamsville, NY, was running a competition within their sales department.  The company broke everyone up into teams and then to encourage the teams to increase sales for the company they incentivized them with a chance to win $50,000 cash.  The deal was that the three teams with the highest sales would then select one person from their team to get a chance of a lifetime to take the 50 foot hockey shot for the $50k.  If one of the lucky contestants was able to successfully complete the shot they would then split the $50k with their team.  Pretty sweet deal!  The best part though was for Ingram Micro, since they purchased contest coverage from Interactive Promotions Group when Jeffrey hit the shot Interactive Promotions Group cut the check for the $50k prize!
