The Around the World and 3 Point Shootout are both contests involving three point shots but they are different in what must be accomplished in order to win the prize. For the Around the World contest, the lucky shooter must make 5 out of 5 shots from around the three point arc. This must be completed in thirty seconds to take home the big prize. For the 3 Point Shootout, the person who is selected must successfully make eight out of ten shots in 25 seconds from the top of the three point arc to win.
