If you are looking to run an on-ice promotion for one lucky contestant, you can choose from the Far Blue Line shot, the Center Ice Shot, the Close Blue Line Shot, Rapid Fire, or Hat Trick. These are great contests to run at just one game or at all of your games. Regardless of how many games you choose to run the promotion at, all of these promotions are a great way to raise money. By selling raffle tickets in the days leading up to the game or games and even on the day of each game you can raise a great deal of money for your organization.
The Far Blue Line, Center Ice, and Close Blue Line shots are all for one shot on the goal from whichever line you choose to purchase the coverage for through a specific size template. The Rapid Fire shot is where the contestant must make twenty out of twenty-five pucks in a designated period of time and these shots get to be taken on an open net from center ice. The Hat Trick shot requires the lucky person who is selected to make 2 out of 3 of the following shots: 1 from the Close Blue Line, 1 from Center Ice, and 1 from the Far Blue Line through a specific size template. If the lucky fan who is selected for the contest can successfully make the shot or shots, depending on the contest, they go home a big winner all courtesy of Interactive Promotions Group.
The Chuck-A-Puck promotion is a great contest to run when you want to get the whole crowd involved! As fans are coming into your event you can have tables setup throughout the arena selling numbered foam hockey pucks. After each person purchases a puck you will log the number of the puck purchased and their name on a spreadsheet, that way if someone wins you will quickly be able to figure out who it is without any confusion! During one of the period breaks you will have all of the people who purchased a puck throw their puck (from at least 40 feet away) onto the ice where you will place a bucket on the center ice dot. If someone is lucky enough to get their puck into the bucket they get to take home the grand prize courtesy of Interactive Promotions Group!
