Illinois Bar Has Seven $10,000 Prize Payouts with NFL & Super Bowl Promotions

Seven lucky patrons of an Illinois bar & restaurant chain win $10,000 each with NFL & Super Bowl promotion!

PRLog (Press Release) – Feb. 4, 2014 – ARDMORE, Pa. — Over the past year, three bars in Illinois have taken out various policies during the NFL season and ALL of them have paid out.  How much, you ask?  The combined payouts have totaled $70,000!

It all started last year when Dave Boge, formally of District Bar & Grill, called Interactive Promotions Group to inquire about team achievement policies.  Interactive Promotions Group is a company located in Ardmore, PA, a suburb of Philadelphia, that specializes in promotional risk coverage.  The policy that he purchased would pay out if either the opening kick-off of the first or second half of NFL Super Bowl XLVII between the Baltimore Ravens and the San Francisco 49ers was run back for a touchdown.  One person (selected at random), would win $10,000 Cash.  Boge purchased this policy for 3 bars ($10k for each). The opening kick-off wasn’t run back and $30,000 was safe but then came the start of the second half and Jacoby Jones of the Baltimore Ravens.  Jones caught the ball in the end zone and ran it back, an incredible 108 yards, for a touchdown!  That was the first of THREE claimed polices paid for by Interactive Promotions Group (https://www.interactivepromotions.com/).

The next policy was taken out at the start of the 2013-2014 NFL season.  This policy was tied to all of the Chicago Bears’ home games and would pay out if the opening kick-off of the first or second half was run back for a touchdown.   Dave Boge moved on to manage RBI Bar & Grill in Rockford and Onyx Bar & Grill in MachesneyPark. Again he contacted http://www.interactivepromotions.com for this policy and took it out for both bars, $10,000 each.  On September 15^th, the Bears played the Minnesota Vikings, which brought another runback for a touchdown, this time by Cordarrelle Patterson of the Vikings. This also happened to be the FIRST play of the game! This brought the second payout of $20,000 ($10k to each bar), which, of course, was again paid for by Interactive Promotions Group

The third policy happened this past weekend during NFL Super Bowl XLVIII between the Denver Broncos and the Seattle Seahawks.  It was pretty much like watching history repeat itself.  The first half of the game started, the Seahawks kicked off and the Broncos were stopped at their 14 yard line.  No winner….yet!  Then came the start of the second half when Denver kicked off to Seattle and the rest is history.  Percy Harvin ran it back 87 yards for a touchdown. Dave Boge’s lucky contestants at RBI Bar & Grill and Onyx Bar & Grill had won another $10,000 each!
